Our take
I've been using the Reloop Mixon 8 Pro for my setup, and it's a beast. Four channels plus four decks let me layer tracks and remix on the fly. The 16 pads are great for triggering samples and hot cues, and the built-in effects—filter, loop, roll—are intuitive. Rack-mountable design is a plus for a clean studio setup. New at $869, it's a serious investment, but it feels more premium than the standard Mixon 8 Pro. The plastic chassis still doesn't feel as robust as metal, but the features justify the price for dedicated DJs.
