About this product
The Reloop RP-2000 MK2 is a belt drive turntable with quartz lock for stable pitch. It features an aluminum platter, S-shaped tonearm, and detachable headshell. Speed settings include 33.3, 45, and 78 RPM, with a pitch range of +/-8%. The active model includes a built-in phono preamp, so it can connect directly to line inputs. A dust cover is included.
Our take
The RP-2000 MK2 is a decent budget turntable for home listening. The belt drive is quiet but lacks torque for heavy scratching. Quartz lock keeps pitch steady, which is nice. The built-in phono preamp saves you from buying an extra box. However, the +/-8% pitch range is limiting for DJ use, and the belt drive means it's not suitable for back-cueing. For $380, it's fine for casual vinyl playback but not for serious DJing.
